Production Planner Job Ref No: WS/PP/06/25 Key Responsibilities: Interpretation of sales forecast and monitoring of stock movements; Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and optimise resource utilisation; Monitor and analyse production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions; Collaborate closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products; Manage stock levels to balance supply and demand; Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Purchasing materials to meet forecasted demand; Management of supplier’s performance. The Person: Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment; Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to be flexible to accommodate the demands of a growing business and a small management team; Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong organisational and time management skills. Preference will be given to candidates with: Experience of using an ERP system, would be ideal, but not essential.
