Shift: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week.

Gentech are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Castlewellan who are expanding on their team of Production Operatives

Duties

• Prepare raw materials to Company specification as part of the Preparation department team.
• Work as part of the Production team in value adding raw materials into finished product.
• Pack finished product into inner and outer cases.
• If you are on the list of approved operators, complete quality control systems records as directed by supervisors
• Before using any company equipment or machinery ensure you have been provided with relevant training.
• Check that such equipment and machinery is in full working order and report any defects to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain high standard of personal hygiene, as appropriate for the food industry.
• Wear protective clothing as appropriate to comply with Company Policy.
• Keep work area clean and tidy.
• Assist with cleaning duties when required.
• Any other duties as directed by Supervisors or Production Manager.

Requirements

• Comply with site Health and Safety requirements.
• Observe all Company Procedures at all times.
• Have a flexible and positive approach to the role.
