An established and innovative engineering company is currently seeking a Production Manager to join its growing team in Ballykelly. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, leading a team of technicians and operators, and ensuring output meets quality, safety, and delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Develop and maintain production schedules in line with customer and business requirements
- Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Manage material and equipment resources efficiently, working closely with maintenance and supply chain teams
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a production or operations management role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process optimisation
- Experience in production planning and resource management
Desirable Criteria
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management
- Experience with ERP and production management systems
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and/or switchgear manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement certification
