Your new role
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specialist plant. You’ll lead a dedicated site team, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while driving operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing site performance, developing KPIs, leading safety initiatives, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. You’ll also manage budgets, support continuous improvement, and act as the main liaison between staff, senior management, and external stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need extensive experience in production management, ideally within a similar industrial environment. Strong leadership and people management skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. You should be confident in managing complex operations, solving problems proactively, and communicating effectively across all levels. A minimum of three years’ experience in a comparable leadership role is required.
