Your new role
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing high-quality suppliers across multiple categories to support production needs. You’ll work closely with key internal teams and play a strategic role in supply chain optimisation.
- Source and evaluate suppliers across domestic and international markets
- Negotiate cost-effective and reliable supply agreements
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure aligned supply strategies
- Conduct market analysis and stay ahead of trends affecting cost and availability
- Maintain accurate procurement data using ERP systems
- Support sustainability and compliance in sourcing practices
- Contribute to cost-saving and risk mitigation projects across the supply chain
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in sourcing or procurement within manufacturing or engineering sectors
- Strong commercial acumen and supplier negotiation skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
