This role is a minimum of 12 months with view of a permanent role. The Key Details: Antrim based office. 12 month+ contract. 37 hours a week. £20.98 per hour. Flexi-hours opportunity. The Role: Manage all stages of tendering and quotation, including evaluation, negotiation, award recommendations, and bidder debriefings. Advise officers, managers, and directors on procurement matters in accordance with policy and best practice. Assist in preparing and reviewing specifications and tender documents to ensure clarity and compliance. Maintain an accurate and accessible central register of contracts for goods, works, and services. Oversee procurement information across systems, including policies, tender opportunities, and contracts. Engage with external procurement bodies to explore opportunities for collaborative purchasing. Support reporting and assurance processes, contract management, and spend monitoring to enhance value for money and ensure compliance. The Person: Experience in a low/mid level procurement role. AND Be willing to work towards achieving membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. Working knowledge of best practice procurement procedures and achieving best value for money.
