We are seeking a Personal Injury Solicitor to join their dynamic team. Your new role In this role, you’ll join a specialist litigation team based in Belfast, working at the forefront of insurance-related legal services. You’ll contribute to a wide range of complex and high-profile cases, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced and mentally engaging environment. This is a unique opportunity to develop your legal career within a team that handles some of the most challenging and varied disputes in the region. You will be responsible for: Supporting the delivery of legal advice on risk, liability, and indemnity issues across a range of insurance matters. Assisting in the defence of civil claims, from large-scale injury cases to routine employer and public liability disputes. Contributing to regulatory defence work, including health and safety investigations and inquest representation. Working on professional indemnity matters involving clients in sectors such as finance, construction, healthcare, and property. Advising on complex policy interpretation and claims strategy for both local and international insurers. Gaining exposure to specialist areas such as directors’ and officers’ liability and institutional risk. What you’ll need to succeed A qualified solicitor (1-3 years PQE) in Northern Ireland, with demonstrable experience in litigation-ideally within the insurance or liability space. A self-motivated approach with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and contribute proactively to team goals. Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Solid legal research capabilities and a methodical approach to problem-solving. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work. Experience managing a portfolio of lower to mid-value claims, with the flexibility to support senior colleagues on more complex, high-stakes matters.
