People & Culture Manager – Belfast – Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People & Culture Manager to take ownership of the people function within a dynamic and fast-growing organisation. You will play a key role in shaping and embedding effective people practices across multiple business areas, supporting leaders to create a connected, engaged, and high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead and manage all areas of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and performance to engagement and development.
– Review and implement effective HR policies, ensuring compliance and alignment with organisational goals.
– Partner with managers to enhance leadership capability, drive positive culture, and embed consistent people practices.
– Support organisational design, workforce planning, and career progression initiatives.
– Conduct compensation and benefits benchmarking to ensure competitive reward structures.
– Oversee employee engagement activities, recognition programmes, and wellbeing initiatives.
– Advise and support leaders on performance, conduct, and employee relations matters.
– Lead HR projects focused on process improvement, inclusion, and employee experience.
The Ideal Candidate
– Strong working knowledge of employment law and best practice HR processes.
– Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
– Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organisation.
– High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Highly Desirable:
– Experience working within a family-run business environment, with an understanding of close-knit cultures and values-led leadership.
– Standalone HR background, demonstrating capability to manage the full spectrum of HR activity.
– CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent practical experience.
