Parts Advisor – Mallusk
Location: Mallusk
Type: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
1 Saturday per month: 9:00am – 1:00pm
We are currently recruiting a Parts Advisor on behalf of our client at their busy operations in Mallusk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, supportive company where you can bring your experience and continue to develop in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and source required parts using vehicle details.
- Retrieve parts from stock or place orders for unavailable items.
- Apply discount policies appropriately, using discretion when necessary.
- Invoice parts correctly and allocate them to the appropriate jobs.
- Liaise daily with the Service Reception team regarding pre-ordering of non-stock items.
- Deliver parts to the workshop and assist in sourcing additional items when needed.
- Contact customers when ordered parts arrive.
- Support annual stock control and inventory checks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Motor Factor or dealer retail environment.
- Practical knowledge of computerised systems for ordering and stock control.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- A professional and presentable attitude in both appearance and work.
