Post Part-Time Lecturer / Assessor Register Ref S67/25 Date of JD 23 May 2025 Salary (£) Part-time Lecturers are paid on an hourly basis, and pay rates depend on the level of course taught: Grade 5 (Courses at Level 1 and 2) – £25.68 Grade 4 (Courses at Level 3 and 4) – £34.72, Grade 3 (Courses at Level 5 and above) – £40.53 per hour Internal Verification (IV) Work Part-time Lecturers who are engaged for separate IV work will be paid at the appropriate hourly rate: £16.82 per hour. Assessing Work Part-time Lecturers who are engaged for separate Assessing work will be paid at the appropriate hourly rate: £16.82 per hour. Directorate Curriculum & Information Services Reports to Head of School Location The appointee will be based in a campus to be determined but will be required to be available for work at all College campuses Hours of work There is no guarantee of work, however, if work becomes available the hours of work will vary based on the demands of the College. The post holder will be required to adopt a flexible approach (including evening work) and to devote such time as may be required by the exigencies of the service.
