Job Summary

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in East Belfast to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their team

Key Responsibilities

Support Financial Planners with all aspects of client servicing, planning, and review

Attend client meetings and assist with technical queries

Gather and maintain client data, including accurate compliance and documentation
Prepare draft net worth statements, cash flow forecasts, and financial plans

Conduct product research, platform analysis, and technical due diligence

Write clear, accurate, and compliant suitability reports

Liaise with providers and client advisers (legal/tax) as needed

Support implementation of recommendations and assist in annual reviews

Maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory and market changes

Criteria

Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in a Paraplanner role

Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) – essential

Strong technical knowledge of financial planning products and platforms

Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial planning software

Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident with complex financial data

Excellent communicator with strong written and interpersonal skills

Able to manage own workload, prioritise effectively, and work independently
