Painter £15.33 per hour

Job Purpose:
To carry out a full range of painting and decorating work within council properties, working independently or as part of a team.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and paint surfaces, apply finishes, and hang wallcoverings.

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and equipment safely.

• Use and maintain tools, materials, and equipment properly.

• Follow all health and safety regulations and council policies.

• Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

Shortlisting (if required):

• At least 2 years experience in all listed areas.

• NVQ Level III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent).
