Location: Portadown Area
Hourly Rate: £14.35 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts

  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Sealing and Packing Supervisor to oversee operations at a well-established Food Manufacturing company in the Portadown area. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to manage a busy production line, ensuring the smooth operation of sealing and packing processes and delivering high-quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the sealing and packing teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity are maintained.

  • Oversee daily operations of sealing and packing lines, ensuring efficient packing processes and achievement of production targets.

  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Train and support team members in proper packing procedures, machinery operation, and health and safety practices.

  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure packed goods meet company specifications and standards.

  • Organize and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during both morning and afternoon shifts.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and logistics, to address and resolve any operational issues.

  • Monitor production performance and report on any deviations from targets or quality issues.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in the packing process.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding packaging and sealing.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in sealing and packing.

  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and managing teams to meet production goals.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.

  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and quality standards within a manufacturing setting.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time, permanent position with rotating shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM / 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) from Monday to Friday.
