The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to join a dynamic litigation team in Belfast. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of commercial disputes, working closely with experienced colleagues on complex and high-value cases. The role offers excellent training, mentorship, and the chance to develop skills in a supportive, collaborative environment while contributing to a nationally recognised practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting on a wide range of commercial litigation matters
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Conducting legal research and case preparation
- Managing elements of cases under supervision and progressing files efficiently
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing clear, practical advice
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality service on major disputes
Requirements
- Qualified (or soon-to-qualify) Solicitor in Northern Ireland
- Strong academic background and a genuine interest in commercial litigation
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Team player with a proactive and professional approach
