Overview
Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm based in central Belfast, is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their growing team. Known for their strong client relationships, commercial outlook, and collaborative culture, the firm offers a fantastic environment for someone starting out in their legal career.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor (or someone qualifying soon) to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of legal work, under the guidance of experienced practitioners. The role is ideal for someone personable, driven, and confident in a client-facing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting senior solicitors across a range of practice areas
- Managing a developing caseload with appropriate supervision
- Delivering exceptional client care and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Attending meetings, conferences, and client calls
- Assisting with business development and maintaining a commercially aware approach
- Drafting legal correspondence and documentation as required
- Participating in training and development activities
Essential Skills and Experience
- Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial mindset and strong client focus
- High levels of initiative, motivation, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Confident working under pressure and managing time effectively
- Positive, flexible, and professional attitude
