We currently have exciting new opportunities for Senior Neurodiversity Consultants to join team in supporting neurodivergent people, as they connect and learn from each other and start out on and progress in careers. Specialisterne NI is a not-for-private-profit community interest company, which supports autistic and neurodivergent people to get ready for, secure, sustain and progress in careers. As part of the international Specialisterne network, which has been established for 20 years and which spans 26 countries, we partner with leading employers internationally to work towards the goal of one million careers for autistic people and people with other neurodivergent conditions.

Due to continued growth and new programmes, we currently have exciting opportunities for Senior Neurodiversity Consultants to join our team in supporting autistic and neurodivergent people, as they connect and learn from each other, and start out on and progress in careers. Senior Neurodiversity Consultant roles are fulltime, or part-time fixed term contracts which are initially to 31 March 2026. The roles will involve working as part of our ‘In This Together’ team and as part of our employability team. In This Together (I.T.T.) is a 4 year programme.

The Roles

The roles will involve working as part of our ‘In This Together’ team and as part of our employability team.

In This Together (I.T.T.) is a 4 year programme which commenced 1 April 2025, which is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). I.T.T. supports neurodivergent people to connect with and learn from each other through shared interests, to be better connected, to feel more confident and to have more skills to take more part in diverse communities. I.T.T. supports neurodivergent young people of schools age and neurodivergent adults.

Our employability team supports participants, who are neurodivergent young people and adults, to get ready for, secure and progress in careers.

The role will provide ongoing learning opportunities on Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, or Tourette’s Syndrome and how to best support neurodivergent people.

We may use this recruitment process to create a reserve list of suitable candidates for similar roles that may arise in the near future.
