Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician that has experience carrying out Mechanical & Electrical issues? A client manufacturing company based in County Armagh are currently on the lookout for a motivated and hard-working individual to join their maintenance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a successful manufacturing company that specialises within food environment and are widely recognised thorough Ireland and the UK with numerous sites.
Description:
You will report to the Maintenance Team Lead / Manager and work with the department managers across the whole site in relations to Maintenance, Quality and Health & Safety. The role will include continental shifts working 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights with overtime option available also.
Duties Include:
- Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment and compliance to SOPs and Safe Working Practices.
- Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
- Undertake basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs of all faulty productions equipment.
- Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
- Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
- Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
- Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering with strong experience in Mechanical/Electrical.
- 3-4+ years experience working within a Production/Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of PLCS, HMI, electronic circuits, panel building and PLC.
- Experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Flexible to working certain shift patterns and overtime when required.
