About the Role:
Our client, a leading engineering and fabrication company based in the United Kingdom, is seeking experienced MIG/GMAW Welders with strong fabrication skills to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for international candidates looking to build a long-term career in the UK under the Skilled Worker visa route.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding) to join metal components in line with technical drawings and specifications.

Carry out general fabrication work, including cutting, bending, forming, and assembling metal structures.

Interpret and work accurately from detailed fabrication and engineering drawings.

Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment effectively and safely.

Conduct quality checks to ensure welds and fabricated parts meet required standards.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
Requirements:

Proven experience in MIG/GMAW welding and metal fabrication, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering sectors.

Ability to read and interpret fabrication and welding drawings and symbols.

Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and safety standards.

Must have passed, or be willing to take, the UKVI IELTS English language test as required by UK Skilled Worker visa regulations.

Relevant welding/fabrication certifications or trade qualifications are preferred.

Willingness to relocate to the UK with company sponsorship.
