The Mechanical Supervisor role itself — where you’ll oversee and manage mechanical maintenance, reactive, and remedial activities within the FM Operations team across Northern Ireland. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining service level agreements. This position offers a hands-on leadership role, empowering you to influence operational standards while working on diverse projects. You will have
To be successful as a Mechanical Supervisor, you will have:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Heating
Experience in facilities management, building services, or estates maintenance
Proven leadership and strong communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CAFM systems
Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements
Desirable skills include:
SMSTS or SSSTS certification
Previous experience working as a gas supervisor or maintenance supervisor
Gas Safe and Oftec accreditation experience
