Our client, is a highly respected, well-established waste recovery operation based just outside Crossmaglen. They have a strong reputation in the crushing, screening, and shredding of waste, they run a busy site operating their own fleet of lorries and a wide range of heavy plant machinery.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a permanent, full-time HGV Mechanic/Plant Fitter to join the team and support the ongoing maintenance, diagnostics and repair of on-site vehicles and equipment.

What Youll Be Working On:
- HGVs and Lorries
- Crushers, Screeners & Shredders
- Various types of Heavy Plant Machinery
Youll play a key role in ensuring all machinery and vehicles are serviced, tested, and repaired promptly to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out scheduled 6-weekly HGV inspections
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on heavy plant and fleet vehicles
- Welding and hardfacing tasks
- Meeting time and productivity targets
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
- Working both independently and as part of a skilled team
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar mechanic or plant fitter role
- Welding experience (essential)
- Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of a team
- HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Flexible approach to Saturday working (as required)
