Responsibleforplanningandschedulingofthematerialsrequiredtoexecutethemanufacturingplan.WorkswiththeMasterProductionSchedulerandsupplychaintotranslatethedemand(forecasts,salesorders,plannedorders)acrossmultipletimehorizonsintophysicalordersandensurestheyaredeliveredtomeetthecustomerrequirements.

TheMRPPlannerisresponsibleforallocating,monitoring,andreleasingdemandtomakesurethatmaterialisavailabletomeettheProductionScheduleandCustomerdeliverables.TherolewillbepartourManufacturingPlanningTeam.Thisrolewilloverseeandmanagethematerialavailabilityforourmanufacturingfacility;identifyanypotentialrisksandmitigateanyproductiondowntime.

Responsibilities:

• ReviewingtheERPsystemdaily,ensuringmaterialquantitiesareavailabletoexecutetheprojectasperBOM.ThisincludesconvertingERP(OracleASCP)suggestedrequirementsintopurchaserequisitions.
• SupportingMasterProductionSchedulertoensurematerialisavailabletomeetthemanufacturingplanorhighlightingrisksandleadtoissueresolution.
• Actingasaninterfacebetweentheprojectandprocurementteams,andproductionplanners,supportingalldepartmentsinordertominimiselossoftimeinManufacture.
• Analysingandmonitoringinventorylevelstoensurecontinuousmaterialflowtomanufacturingoperations,whilesupportingbusinesscashflowtargets.
• CoordinatingtheresolutionofproblemsandmaintainingtheASCPdatesthroughregularcommunicationwithProductionControlandMasterScheduler.
• ManagingdataqualityontheERPsystem.

Tobesuccessfulinthisroleyouwill:

• HaveaHighSchoolDiplomawithprovenexperienceinMaterialPlanning
• HavepriorexperienceofMRP/ERPsystems,withdesiredexperiencewithOracleASCP
• HaveaKnowledgeofEngineeringBOMstructures
• Havecommunication,influencing,andorganizationalskills
• Havesoundcomputerskills:Outlook,Excel,PowerPointetc.
