About the company
A growing business in the Magherafelt area are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team, due to exciting growth plans. This is a newly created role, working directly with the Head of Finance to assist with the day to day running of this busy finance function. An ideal role for any Qualified or Qualified by Experience accountants who are seeking a varied industry role, an excellent working environment, an experienced mentor and genuine progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly/year-end accounts
- Processing statutory returns
- KPI reporting
- Overseeing transactional finance – AP/AR
- Implementing process improvements across the finance function
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE/Part-Qualified with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
