Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic organisation that operates across multiple commercial sites, delivering services that make a real difference in people’s lives.This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a purpose-driven team. You’ll play a key role in supporting financial operations across hospitality and commercial ventures, helping drive strategic decisions and operational efficiency.
Your new role
Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.Provide financial support to department heads to aid decision-making.Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations.Participate in monthly stocktakes and ensure ledger accuracy.Lead credit control and aged debtor reviews.Support payroll processing and liaise with HR.Assist with audits and internal financial controls.Deliver training on financial processes across commercial sites.
What you’ll need to succeed
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounting experience.Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to meet mobility requirements).Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Desirable:
- Experience with Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
- Background in hospitality or social enterprise environments.
