Maintenance Engineer on Days Monday to Friday with our client who manufacture building materials across UK & Ireland

Providing maintenance support for the plant you will help ensure production runs smoothly, equipment is maintained to a high standard and downtime is minimal
Suitable candidates will need to be Level 3 time served Mechanical/ Electrical with maintenance experience on production equipment in a manufacturing setting
The Role
- Preventative and reactive maintenance on plant production equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshoot problems, carry out repairs quickly
- Work closely with production teams to enhance reliability, safety and equipment OEE
- Welding and Fabrication work
- Mechanical fitting, installation, refurb and improvements on machinery
- Routine inspections on equipment
- Ensure all plant equipment is operationally safe
- Record maintenance activities and document key info for health, safety, environmental and quality
- Work in line with Health & Safety
What we are looking for
- Level 3 apprenticeship Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Working knowledge of PLC control systems
