We are currently looking for an LV Switchboard Builder (General Operative / Electrical fitter) to join our team and help us continue to build a culture of excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assembly of electrical Switchgear and low voltage switchboards to engineering drawings and production timescales
- Interpret technical drawings and built instructions
- Install a range of different electric components such as circuit breakers and busbars
- Apply good workmanship, ensure quality standards are maintained for the products both in the factory and at customers premises.
- A high level of mechanical aptitude and dexterity
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company health and safety policies
Desired Criteria:
- No experience is required as full training will be provided
- Prior experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as proficiency with hand tools, is beneficial
- Flexible approach to work, willingness to learn and be part of a team
- Proficiency in basic written and spoken English
- A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential
