Litigation Solicitor (24 years PQE) Hillsborough / Lisburn Artemis Human Capital is working with a well-established legal practice in Co Down that is seeking to recruit a Litigation Solicitor with 2-4 years’ PQE to join their busy and growing team. This role offers a varied and interesting caseload across both civil and commercial litigation, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a broad spectrum of contentious matters. Youll work alongside experienced litigators, supporting a loyal client base on everything from contractual disputes and contentious probate to debt recovery, personal injury, and property-related claims. The firm handles work at all court levels, providing solid exposure for those keen to develop further in advocacy or complex litigation. The role will involve: Managing your own caseload of civil and commercial litigation files Drafting pleadings, instructions to counsel, and legal correspondence Attending court hearings and settlement discussions Advising clients from initial instruction through to resolution Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments where needed Criteria: A qualified solicitor with 2 – 4 years’ PQE and solid litigation experience Exposure to both civil and commercial disputes (or a willingness to develop in both) Strong communication skills, with a pragmatic and client-focused approach Experience preparing cases for court and managing files independently This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation solicitor looking to broaden their experience in a well-rounded role with genuine autonomy, ongoing support, and strong client engagement.
