  • Ensure cases move swiftly to settlement or repudiation and are archived in line with procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal/client SLAs, KPIs, and billing targets.

Team Supervision

  • Supervise and support two junior colleagues, contributing to a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Conduct performance reviews, monitor wellbeing, and identify development and training needs.
  • Lead on inductions and ensure team policies and documentation remain up to date.

  • Ensure trust balances are cleared promptly and WIP is billed efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate case records and support provision of regular MI reporting.

Client Engagement & Development

  • Act as a key contact for clients, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Attend client meetings (in-person or virtually) and represent the firm with professionalism.
  • Support business development initiatives alongside the wider team.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland (or England & Wales with NI capability).
  • Experience in litigation, ideally within property damage, recoveries, or general insurance.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a practical, client-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn technical aspects of property claims and insurance recoveries.

Desirable
