A well-established property development and management company with a diverse range of property interests throughout the UK and Ireland have an opportunity for aLettings Manager to join their team. Travel to properties in Belfast and Dublin will be required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Tenant Handover / Liaison:
- Conduct property inspections and viewings with attention to detail
- Negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals, open market lettings
- Manage leases and tenancy renewals with precision and care to update finance team
- Proactively maintain strong relationships with the tenants as the landlord representative
- Proactively manage any tenant disputes or issues in a timely manner
Compliance and Health & Safety:
- Statutory compliance for the Private rental properties
- Monitor and ensure all certification up to date and on file and maintain compliance schedule
General Maintenance:
- Property inspections and survey
- Instruct and supervise repair works, ensuring timely completion
- Manage, supervise, tendering, instruct and check on all service providers and maintenance work.
- Manage and direct property agents in respect of deduction from tenant deposits.
- Common area presentation, including all external and internal areas.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience within property management (to include asset management; property management and lettings) is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Clean driving license with access to a car
The overall salary package for this position is negotiable, depending on experience
