Legal Secretary
A prestigious law firm providing a wide range of legal services are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team based in East Belfast.
This is a Full-Time, permanent role.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm
Salary: Dependent on experience
Job Role:
You will be working on a one-to-one basis with a senior solicitor/director within the practice, providing full Legal Secretary support.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy legal environment.
- Preferable experience in conveyancing
- Excellent IT skills with the use of Microsoft Word, Typing, Formatting and Editing documents.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills while working to strict deadlines.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Audio typing.
- Sending/receiving emails on behalf of Solicitor.
- Filing, photocopying, keeping files up to date.
- Assisting within the team as and when required.
- Diary management.
- Occasionally making and receiving phone calls and liaising with clients, other legal firms etc.
- Opening, maintaining, and closing files in line with the firm’s own processes.
