Job Summary

TITLE: LEGAL SECRETARY

JOB DUTIES;

  • Greeting Clients and arranging appointments.
  • Answering telephone calls in a professional manner, dealing with enquiries, accurately recording and relaying telephone messages to necessary departments.
  • Production of letters and Legal Documents using digital dictation with use of Microsoft Word, Access and Outlook..
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, e-mail enquiries, sending correspondence by Fax and E-mail.
  • Photocopying and printing various documents.
  • Filing, updating and maintaining filing systems and databases.
  • Any other duties as may be required by the Employer.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent level of English
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • Have good time keeping skills
  • Previous experience in Conveyancing and Probate Preferred but not necessary.

HOURS

(36.25 per week)

MONDAY FRIDAY 9.15 A.M. TO 5.30 P.M. WITH A BREAK OF 60 MINUTES FOR LUNCH

TYPEWRITING /WORDPROCESSING IS ESSENTIAL

AND KNOWLEDGE OF OFFICE PROFESSIONAL AND PRACTICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE
