Laser/ Punch Machine Operator

Job description

Main Purpose of the Role

To cut parts to drawings as requested by the production design and specification.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Production Supervisor produce parts using a Laser/ Punch machine
• Use verniers and other measuring instruments to evaluate the results and make necessary adjustments
• Check and maintain machinery
• Able to read and interpret drawings and instructions
• Able to use calipers and other measuring tools?
• Housekeeping within immediate working area

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm
• Friday 8am-1pm
• Overtime available
