Globally, each year we recruit hundreds of graduates to help us see things differently and solve the most complex challenges facing our clients, climate and communities.The Environmental Team is responsible for the preparation of environmental impact assessments, strategic environmental assessments, environmental due diligence, undertaking ecology and sustainability workstreams.The Environmental team are looking to take on work placement students in our Belfast office. We are offering the opportunity to work with a diverse team on a range of challenging projects. We work with a range of clients on developing sustainable solutions for their projects and to deliver on our commitment to build a sustainable future. our EIA team within Climate and Sustainability Services offer a multidisciplinary service, we are looking for placement studentswith diverse skills and interests within environmental appraisal, impact assessment and EIA management to work on major national infrastructure (transport, water and energy sectors) and urban development projects. Clients will include private developers, public sector authorities and other organisations. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside other environmental, planning, engineering and urban design specialists, and will work closely with technical disciplines (both internal and external to Arup) to deliver high quality environmental consultancy services.
