HireIQ are delighted to be working with a long standing client as they hire for an Indirect Tax accountant. Our client is a industry leading business and you will be based in the Craigavon area.

Responsibilities:
- Duties will include, but are not limited to, the preparation of VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, and EC sales listings for all companies
- Work closely with site accountants and key stakeholders to support the preparation, review, and submission of VAT returns and Intrastat declarations.
- Ensure accurate reporting to deliver on the financial performance and tax position of the business units.
- Prepare and review supporting tax and financial reports in line with Group and HMRC/Irish Revenue requirements.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and provide effective solutions.
- Leverage ERP and IT systems to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement in systems and processes in collaboration with other departments.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA with 2 years post qualification experience, or qualified by experience
- Strong knowledge/experience in VAT and Intrastat returns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player who can work collaboratively
