As a rapidly expanding organisation, they are hiring a HR Operations Manager to be the driving force behind their people-first strategy, ensuring every team member is supported and set up for success as the company grows.

The Role

This isn’t just an HR role, its a hands-on, strategic position where you will be the central point of contact for all HR-related issues, directly supporting managers and regional managers. You’ll dedicate approximately 70% of your time to core HR management, focusing on employee relations, compliance, and growth plans. The remaining time will be spent on vital operational tasks that keep their business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact and provide expert guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling, fostering positive employee relations.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with business goals and comply with local labor laws across the UK, NI, & ROI.

  • Collaborate with managers to develop a hiring plan and ensure a smooth, onboarding experience for all new hires.

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from talent acquisition to issuing contracts, and ensure all necessary training is completed.

  • Manage daily HR operations,preparing the daily morning team briefings, track attendance, sickness, and lateness. Ensure contracts are issued and staff rota for all fixed-term contract members.

  • Support managers in the performance review process and conduct training to ensure fair and effective evaluations.

  • Drive operational efficiency by building upon Warehouse KPIs, focusing on key metrics like projections, goals, and inventory thresholds for reordering.

  • Maintain daily email updates on projections and goals.

Essential Criteria

  • CIPD Level 3 to 5 qualification or higher in Human Resources Management.

  • Proven experience managing HR functions across multiple jurisdictions, across the UK, NI, and ROI, with a strong understanding of each regions unique employment laws.

  • Excellent skills in people management, communication, and conflict resolution.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving HR issues.

  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
