Role: HR Officer Location: Antrim, Northern Ireland Type: Full-time | Permanent Reports to: HR Manager Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities: Lead attendance and absence management, collaborating with line and factory managers to proactively reduce absenteeism. Support workforce planning in partnership with operational leaders to align staffing with production needs. Drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives to support a positive workplace culture. Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports, and assist with payroll-related processes. Ensure ongoing HR compliance with employment legislation and company policies. Assist with performance management, guiding managers through appraisals and improvement plans. Oversee recruitment and onboarding across factory and office-based roles. Coordinate training and development programmes, ensuring compliance and progression. The Ideal Candidate: CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards). Solid HR experience within a manufacturing or fast-paced operational environment. Confident working with factory and operational managers to support day-to-day workforce matters. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail. Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HR systems. Why Apply?
