HR Manager – Permanent – Belfast
MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading organisation as they look to add an HR Manager to their team, in this full-time, permanent opportunity.
The role:
Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Senior HR Officer looking to step up into a standalone HR Manager role.
You’ll have full ownership of the HR function, working closely with senior leaders and managers to shape, deliver, and embed effective people practices.
The main responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for all HR-related matters across the business.
- Leading on employee relations, performance management, and absence management.
- Managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to exit.
- Reviewing and updating policies and procedures in line with legislation.
- Supporting managers with coaching, guidance, and best practice HR advice.
- Partnering with leadership to ensure HR supports business growth.
The ideal candidate:
- Experienced Senior HR Officer or HR Advisor seeking progression to HR Manager.
- Strong knowledge of NI employment law and HR best practice.
- Confident handling employee relations and working in a standalone capacity
- A proactive, hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or working towards) desirable
What’s on offer:
- Salary up to £45k (depending on experience).
