Our client, a well-established Facilities and Services organisation based in Belfast, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the Employee Relations function and support the delivery of an inclusive, engaging, and compliant people strategy across the group.
The Role
As HR Manager, reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll lead the HR team and act as a key advisor to managers across the business. You’ll manage complex casework, support policy development, and ensure a fair, consistent approach to all people-related matters.
This role offers a mix of strategic input and hands-on case management, ideal for someone confident in employment law, with a coaching approach to line manager support.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise on complex employee relations issues including conduct, performance, grievance, and absence
- Manage high-risk or sensitive casework, including TUPE, sickness, ill health retirement, and hearings
- Coach and support the ER team and wider management group to handle people issues confidently
- Collaborate with trade unions to maintain positive employee relations
- Oversee the performance review process and support ongoing staff development
- Assist with payroll queries, benefits admin, and salary benchmarking
- Provide data-driven insights through HR reporting and KPIs
- Support policy creation and documentation, ensuring legal compliance and best practice
- Represent the business at hearings and tribunals if required
- Lead or support on HR projects and change programmes as needed
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a senior HR role
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- TUPE process experience
- CIPD or relevant 3rd level qualification
