Job Summary

The successful HR Business Partner will be commercially minded, interacting regularly with key internal stakeholders at all levels, ensuring the HR service genuinely adds value to the business. As the business continues to grow, the HR Business Partner will be pivotal in driving a positive company culture across a range of teams.

Main Purpose: To partner with business leaders and managers to deliver a proactive, solutions-focused HR service that supports the achievement of organisational goals. This includes driving a positive workplace culture, managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and implementing people initiatives that enhance engagement, performance, and long-term workforce capability.

About The Role

Main tasks and duties

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and local employment law policies, procedures, and practices, including customer auditing.
  • Manage recruitment activity directly at all levels from day to day production staffing to management with a focus on long-term workforce planning.
  • Act as a role model of company values.
  • Partner with leaders to forecast workforce needs, succession planning, and talent pipeline development.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and cultural transformation projects, ensuring smooth adoption.
  • Drive the performance management cycle, ensuring objectives are set, feedback is given, and development plans are in place.
  • Work with the Learning & Development function to identify skills gaps and deliver targeted training solutions.
  • Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, measure progress, and inform decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention.

Required Criteria

  • A passion for HR excellence, with a proven track record in a previous organisation.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in an HR Business Partner role or equivalent senior HR position.
  • Qualification in a relevant Business/HR discipline or CIPD qualified.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced HR environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and HR database systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks assertively, efficiently, and on time.
  • Confident, proactive, and solutions-focused.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Experience managing attendance processes.
  • Experience managing grievance and/or dignity at work cases.
  • Experience managing disciplinary cases.
  • Experience developing HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience delivering HR projects in support of business objectives.

Desired Criteria

  • 34 years experience in an HR Business Partner role or equivalent senior HR position.
  • Experience supporting organisational change initiatives.
  • Experience in workforce planning and succession management.
  • Experience using HR analytics to provide insights and inform decision-making.
  • Experience leading employee engagement or wellbeing initiatives.
  • Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion programmes.
  • Experience collaborating on salary benchmarking, pay reviews, or reward initiatives.
