HR Analyst MCS Group are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading FMCG organisation, currently recruiting for an HR Analyst to support their dynamic, cross-jurisdictional team. This is a brand-new role, perfect for someone with strong systems and reporting experience looking to step into a broad, group-level position within a fast-paced, expanding business. The role This newly created role will play a key part in supporting business operations through the management of people systems, the production of insightful reports, and coordination of payroll. Reporting into the Group HR function, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of systems, delivering regular reports to senior leadership, and overseeing outsourced payroll activities. This is a six-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension or permanent opportunity, based on business needs. The main responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll preparation in collaboration with the Finance team and external providers, ensuring accurate input of data for starters, leavers, contractual changes, and benefits. Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and line managers, and assist with periodic in-house payroll refreshes. Maintain and update the HRIS and Learning & Development system, ensuring employee records are accurate and compliant. Generate regular reports on key HR metrics such as turnover, absence, and diversity, and produce monthly KPI dashboards for leadership. Liaise with system vendors to resolve technical issues, support audits, uphold data integrity, and ensure GDPR compliance. You will also collaborate with line managers to ensure timely and high-quality data updates. Support the wider HR team across onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and ongoing projects. Help improve administrative processes and ensure accurate maintenance of training records. Oversee the scheduling and recording of Performance Development Reviews at 6- and 12-month intervals. The ideal candidate Proven experience in a systems, data, or HR reporting role, ideally in a multi-site environment. Comfortable presenting reports and insights to senior stakeholders. Strong Excel and data handling skills, with exposure to HRIS and payroll systems. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Previous exposure to payroll processes preferred. What’s on offer?
