Join Our Team at Tarasis Housing! We are seeking two skilled and reliable Maintenance Workers to join our Housing team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing a variety of reactive and planned maintenance tasks, while managing your own designated maintenance van and schedule. Key Responsibilities: Carry out general domestic repairs across Tarasis properties Perform basic tasks in the following areas: Plumbing Electrical work Carpentry Plastering Tiling Painting and decorating Lock changing and property securement Conduct routine property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues often in collaboration with landlords, letting agents, the Housing Executive, and Tarasis representatives Implement and adhere to all Tarasis Housing Maintenance and Repairs policies and procedures Accurately log repairs and follow-ups on the Tarasis Management Information System (MIS) Maintain positive working relationships with sub-contractors, tenants, commissioners, and internal staff Carry out routine inspections of company vehicles, tools, and equipment Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report on daily activities What Were Looking For: Proven experience in general property maintenance Basic skills across a range of trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.) A self-starter who can manage their own workload and maintenance van Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety Strong communication and interpersonal skills Full, clean driving licence essential Domestic Electrical Installer Course – Does not require this at entry but the successful candidate must be willing to complete this during employment.
