Housekeepers – Bangor / Donaghadee Area

Casual & Part-Time Shifts 8am-3pm Mon-Fri

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Housekeepers for our clients in the Bangor and Donaghadee area. These positions offer casual and part-time shifts, making them ideal for candidates seeking flexible working hours in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities of a Housekeeper

• Carry out daily and periodic cleaning duties in all areas, including resident rooms, offices, kitchens, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
• Perform both routine and deep cleaning to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Safely use and storage of cleaning materials in line with COSHH regulations.
• Report any faults or maintenance issues promptly and ensure faulty equipment is clearly marked and removed from use.
• Always use safety signage appropriately and maintain awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Keep cleaning stores tidy, organised, and safe.
• Interact courteously with residents and staff, always ensuring a respectful and caring approach.

Requirements

• At least 3 months experience in a similar role
• Courteous, caring, and professional nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Flexible and dependable with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Manual handling training certificate (Excel can help with this).
