Skips R Us has established a strong market niche in the recycling of Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste through our dedicated waste recycling facility.

We are currently seeking an HGV/Plant Mechanic to assist with the maintenance and repairs of our modern fleet of HGVs and plant equipment, including Walking Floors, Tipping Trailers, Hook Loaders, Skip Loaders, Shredders, Crushers, and Excavators due to continued expansion.

Your Duties will include:

Preparing HGVs and Trailers for MOT

Ordering parts as required for repairs.

Performing routine maintenance on company equipment and completing six-week

inspections on all vehicles and trailers as necessary

Respond to roadside breakdowns.

Diagnose mechanical/electrical faults.

Ensure that all required repairs are carried out in a timely manner

Skills Required:

Excellent organisational skills

Ability to work on own initiative and as a team member.

Experience in repairing and maintaining heavy machinery

HGV Drivers License is Preferable

Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools is advantageous.
