MPA Recruitment are working in partnership with their market leading client in the Belfast, Mallusk and Newtownards area to recruit a full time HGV Class 2 Driver. Essential Requirements
- Class C Licence
- Driver’s CPC Card
- Driver’s Digi-Taco card
Responsibilities
- Multi drop distribution and pick-ups around the greater Belfast area
- Loading and unloading of lorry
- Making sure all paperwork is signed and presented to the office at end of day
- Daily vehicle checks are completed
- Daily lorry stock take completed
- Ensure that all relevant drivers’ hours’ regulations are adhered to, including use of tachographs and drivers hours regulations
- Building and maintaining good relationship with clients
Working hours are Monday to Friday there is an AM and PM shift
Starting time for AM is approx. 5.30am with no set finish time
Starting time for PM shift is approx. 3pm with no set finish time
Minimum of 40 hours per week and over time kicks in at 45 hours
Overtime paid at time and a half
Weekends and Bank Holidays are also paid at time and a half
This position pays an excellent hourly rate – £15.17 to £17.17 per hour depending on shift
