HGV Class 2 Driver – Builders Merchants (Belfast Area)
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established builders merchants in the Belfast area. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, providing an opportunity for long-term employment for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers and business locations
Adhere to all relevant road traffic laws and industry regulations
Maintain a high standard of professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues
Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
Requirements:
Possession of a valid HGV Class 2 Licence
Current CPC & Tachograph Card
In-depth understanding of road networks, traffic laws, and driving hours regulations
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment
Strong commitment to health, safety, and operational excellence
Remuneration:
Competitive hourly rate of £16.03 (inclusive of holiday pay)
Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, commencing at 7:30 AM
