Your new role
As Administration Grants Officer within the Community Planning & Development team, you will provide professional, confidential, and high-quality administrative support across a range of service areas. Your responsibilities will include:Diary management and scheduling for senior staffHandling correspondence, coding invoices, and maintaining filing systemsResponding to public and community group queriesSupporting the development and maintenance of the Community Plan and associated databasesAssisting with the organisation of meetings, training sessions, and promotional campaignsAttending community planning functions in an administrative capacityProviding cover for administrative duties in community centres and across the wider teamThis is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week), with occasional evening, weekend, and public holiday work required to meet service needs. The post is based in Ballymena in accessible premises, and some travel may be required.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C or above)At least 1 year’s administrative experience in a busy office environment, including:Managing high volumes of workPrioritising competing demandsUsing office technology (e.g., Word Processing)Or alternativelyAt least 3 years’ administrative experience in a busy office environment, including the above competenciesAdditionally, you should be:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Highly organised with excellent attention to detailA confident communicator with a professional approachAble to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible and willing to travel for work-related duties
