Graduate Process Engineer – Manufacturing – Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland – Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent – Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm Friday: 8:30am-2:00pm Flexi-time policy in place – Starting Salary: £28,500 Incremental rise to £34,000 over 24 months We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Graduate Process Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing company based in Lisburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience optimising production processes, reducing waste, and improving operational efficiency in a high-quality, bespoke manufacturing environment. What You’ll Be Doing: Assist in the design and implementation of workflow and process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles Carry out time studies, line balancing, and layout optimisation for production areas Support new product introduction and continuous improvement projects across multiple production lines Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, and NPD teams Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) Use data to support capital equipment investment proposals Analyse production metrics to identify areas for cost, waste, and quality improvements Communicate project progress and findings across departments Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve technical challenges What We’re Looking For: Essential: Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Strong interest in continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency Experience working with CAD and Microsoft Office Demonstrable communication, organisation, and project skills Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Desirable: 1 year+ experience in a manufacturing/process engineering role Familiarity with MRP systems and ISO 9001 standards Previous use of Lean tools and techniques Experience working within a structured NPD or engineering change process What’s On Offer: Competitive Graduate Salary Progression £28,500 starting salary rising to £34,000 over two years Comprehensive Benefits Package 32 days annual leave (increasing with service) Company life assurance (after 12 months) Health benefits package after 6 months Paid professional memberships Employee referral scheme and loyalty bonuses Attendance vouchers and recognition programmes Staff discount on products (50%) On-site parking DELL corporate discounts This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated engineering graduate to join a progressive manufacturing business and fast-track their development in a collaborative, innovative environment.
