Just finished your degree and ready to get stuck into your first proper engineering role? Were working with a well-established engineering company in the heavy machinery sector who are growing their design team. This is a full-time, permanent role with plenty of support, mentoring, and long-term career potential.
The Role:
- Youll get hands-on with mechanical design projects from concept through to manufacturing.
- Youll be creating 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical specifications using SolidWorks.
- Youll work closely with experienced engineers and production teams to bring designs to life, ensuring everything meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Youll also get involved in solving technical issues as part of a supportive and experienced design team.
What Were Looking For:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject.
- Some placement or project experience using SolidWorks even at university level will be useful.
- A genuine interest in machinery, manufacturing, or mechanical systems. Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and solid communication skills.
