About the Position Title: Graduate Cloud Engineer Reports to: Compute Services Manager Hours of work: 37.75 hours per week Location: Terex Lurgan, Silverwood Business Park, Lurgan, Co Armagh We are looking for a Graduate Cloud Engineer to join the global datacenter team where you can work side by side with infrastructure engineers and architects to develop cloud infrastructure modernization components. Key Responsibilities: Develop, automate and maintain the build of AWS components, and operating systems Liaise with architects, software engineers, database administrators to understand and implement new requirements, features and changes Work with application and architecture teams to conduct proof of concept (POC) and implement the design in a production environment in AWS/Azure. Migrate and transform existing workloads from on premise to AWS/Azure. Investigate and develop new microservices and features using the latest technology stacks from AWS and Azure. Maintenance of a centralized IT document library Build and deploy serverless compute in public cloud. Level of education: Recent Graduate in Computing or related degree (2021-2025) Experience Level: Experience using AWS/Azure or Public Cloud infrastructure is desired but not required Experience of infrastructure planning and service delivery is desired but not required. Skills: Have a keen interest and willingness to learn IT Cloud related services Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work well with people from many different cultural backgrounds, different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience over geographically dispersed locations. Take ownership of issues, ensure all interested parties are kept informed of progress and deliver solutions. Good organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise. Strong research techniques. Excellent verbal and written skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time depending on assigned business and project initiatives. Must be a team player able to demonstrate strong customer focus with the energy, drive and commitment to successfully work through any and all issues and objectives related to this role and that of the overall team.
