Location: Belfast | Pay: £13.05 per hour | Hours: Full-time

Join the City & Neighbourhood Services team delivering essential services across parks, streets, and waste facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of household and commercial waste

• Clean streets, parks, and public spaces

• Support gardening and grounds maintenance

• Remove graffiti, litter, and fly posters

• Assist with gritting, leaf clearing, and snow removal

• Operate basic tools, machinery, and safety equipment

• Report incidents, defects, and complete basic paperwork

• Engage with the public and promote recycling

What You Need

At least one years experience of:

• Dealing with the public

• Health and safety awareness, including PPE use and manual handling

Additional requirements:

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow work plans and make day-to-day decisions

• Able to complete forms and written reports clearly

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather

Desirable: Two or more years relevant experience in public-facing or safety-related roles may be prioritised.
