The organisation delivers Early Childhood Education (ECE) programmes in Tanzania and Ethiopia, and Global Citizenship Education (GCE) across Ireland through its “Educating the Heart” initiative. With a strong foundation in the North West, they are now expanding their fundraising footprint into Greater Belfast and you could be at the heart of that growth.
Your new role
As Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will lead the development and delivery of a strategic fundraising plan focused on the Greater Belfast area. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Communications, you’ll engage with corporate partners, churches, and schools, while organising high-impact fundraising events and cultivating supporter-led initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and nurturing relationships with corporate prospects and community organisations
- Developing and delivering a schools fundraising strategy across Northern Ireland
- Organising high-return fundraising events and supporting community-led fundraising groups
- Collaborating with internal teams to maximise engagement and impact
- Managing budgets, reporting on progress, and maintaining CRM records
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years’ paid experience in a fundraising role
- Proven track record of meeting income targets
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage volunteers and work independently
- Confidence using CRM systems (Access CRM preferred)
- A proactive, organised, and mission-driven approach
- Willingness to travel across NI and occasionally work evenings/weekends
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Salary: £34,834 per annum
- Hybrid Working: 4 days from home, 1 day per week in the Derry office (flexible day)
